Mboka Cement Cameroon is expected be a granted a 30 years tax and import exoneration by Cameroon’s National Agency for Investment Promotion (API).
The news comes after the country’s Minister of Finance, His Excellency Mr Luis Paul Motaze, issued a later asking the API to issue Mboka with the sai tax and import exonerations in accordance with the country’s 2013/April law that allows companies investing in specific sectors to be exonerated of tax and import duties for a period of 15 to 30 years.
The request of the exonerations made by API on behalf of Mboka Industrial Services, will boost the competitiveness of the company’s cement plant to be located in Douala, and will likely allow the company to make more investment in Cameroon.
