The top management of Mboka Industrial Services met with Cameroon’s Minister of Mines, Industries and Technological Development, His Excellency Mr DODO NDOKE Gabriel at the Minister’s office in Yaounde.
The two sides discussed the business opportunities present in Cameroon’s manufacturing sector, especially those in the construction materials industries.
Mboka’s delegation, led by its General Manager Dr Mukete Beyongo, presented to the Minister the company’s desire to build greenfield cement grinding plant in Douala.
The cement plant which will be Cameroon’s sixth, comes at a time with high cement demand in the country, even as the state strives to reduce the prices of construction materials in Cameroon.
The Minister welcomes the new plant, and said the government wants companies that can exploit the country’s limestone reserve to produce clinkers locally. He said this will help reduce the current high prices of cement across the country.
