Mboka Receives 10 hectares from PAD for a new Cement Plant

The Director General of Douala Port Authority (PAD) has agreed in principle to issue 10 hectares of land at the Douala Port for the construction of a new cement grinding plant.

Mboka Industrial Services had requested for land for the construction of its new cement grinding plant at the Douala port, where other major cement companies including Dangote and CIMENCAM are found.

In a letter signed by the Director General of the Douala Port Authority Mr Cyrus Ngo’o the PAD expressed its willingness to issue 10 hectares of land to Mboka Cement, telling the company the project aligns with the General Manager’s vision to transform the Douala port into a large and strategic manufacturing hub in Central Africa.

A delegation composed of members from Mboka Industrial Services and PAD later visited the land.
